In Istanbul, situated on the European and Asian continents, which have been metropolises for a thousand years since the Eastern Roman Empire, where we look at another continent from one side, where people change continents every day to go from home to work and from work to home; we are honoured and delighted to host the 29^th International Dental Congress of the Turkish Dental Association, together with our Istanbul Dental Association, on the occasion of the 40^th anniversary of the Turkish Dental Association. International Dental Congress in Istanbul, which has been a metropolis for a thousand years since the Eastern Roman Empire, where we look at another continent from one side, where people change continents every day to go from their homes to their workplaces and back.

Our professional association, which takes pride in having organised the World Dental Federation (FDI) Congress twice in 40 years, now wants to be with you at our Congress, which has become a traditional celebration of science and technology, with an intensive scientific programme and an exhibition featuring many components of our sector.

The 29^th International Dental Congress organised by the Turkish Dental Association will be held at the Istanbul Congress Centre from 1^st to 4^th October 2026 with your participation.

This year's congress is special not only for its scientific content but also because it marks the 40^th anniversary of the Turkish Dental Association. As we leave four decades behind, we honour our profession's past, evaluate its present, and aim to shape its future together.
