Abstract Submission

The only valid method for abstract submission is through the official congress website www.tdbkongreleri.org . Abstracts submitted via e-mail or postal mail will not be accepted.

Accepted oral and poster presentations will be published in the INTERNATIONAL DENTAL RESEARCH journal.
TDB 2025 holds the status of an International Congress.

Abstract Submission Deadline: JUNE 15, 2025
Notification of Acceptance: AUGUST 1, 2025

All abstracts to be presented at the congress must contribute to scientific advancements and literature in the field of dentistry and must include a conclusive message. All authors' names, surnames, and affiliations must be provided. Each abstract must clearly identify one corresponding author, along with their email and contact information. The preferred presentation format (Oral/Poster) must be specified during submission. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to change the presentation type.

Final Submission Instructions

Abstracts prepared in accordance with the rules must be submitted online no later than June 15, 2025. Submissions after this date will not be considered. Notification emails will be sent to the corresponding authors of accepted oral and poster presentations. Presenters of accepted abstracts must complete their congress registration by August 1, 2025. Abstracts of unregistered presenters will not be included in the final program book.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
  • All abstracts must be submitted through the online submission system.
  • Abstracts must be prepared in both Turkish and English and comply with the submission guidelines.
  • A participant may be listed as a presenter on a maximum of two abstracts (1 oral + 1 poster or 2 posters).
  • Academic titles should not be included in author names. Author names must be written in lowercase, with only the first letters capitalized.
  • Abstracts must be structured as Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Case reports should follow the format: Objective, Case Report, Conclusion.
  • A maximum of 5 keywords may be included.
  • Abstract text (excluding title and author names) must not exceed 300 words, and titles must not exceed 10 words.
  • The title must reflect the content of the study.
  • Figures, tables, charts, or images are not allowed in abstracts.
  • To receive a certificate of presentation, the presenter must deliver the presentation in person at the specified date and time.
Abstracts not complying with any of the above criteria will be excluded from evaluation, regardless of content.

  • If you have previously used the TDB 2025 online registration system, you can log in using your existing credentials.
  • Carefully read the instructions and messages displayed after registration.
  • As submitted abstracts will be published as they are, please check for spelling errors.
  • Keep the confirmation emails you receive after your submission.
  • You may track the evaluation process of your abstract using your email and password on the system.
Abstract Evaluation

All abstracts will be evaluated anonymously via the online system by the Abstract Evaluation Committee. The names and institutions of the researchers will be hidden. At least one author must be registered for the congress for the abstract to be considered. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reassign the format of accepted presentations (oral/poster). All authors will be informed of the evaluation results and final presentation format via email.

Certificate of Attendance

Certificates will be provided during the congress. Presenters must personally deliver their presentations at the scheduled time to receive a certificate.

Accepted oral and poster presentations will be published in the INTERNATIONAL DENTAL RESEARCH journal. Authors must indicate whether they will upload only the abstract or the full text through the submission interface. Full texts must be uploaded to the INTERNATIONAL DENTAL RESEARCH journal’s website interface before the congress date.

FULL TEXT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • As the International Dental Research journal is indexed both internationally and in ULAKBİM TR Dizin, all full-text submissions must meet high scientific standards.
  • Requirements include:
    • Professional and certified English academic editing by a native speaker
    • Proofreading of the text
    • Similarity check via iThenticate (must be ≤20%)
    • Layout formatting and galley proof services
    • Copyediting and layout editing
    • Review by a statistical editor (authors will be given time for corrections if needed)
    • Assignment of a DOI number
    • In order to meet all these requirements, an additional fee of $250 (or its equivalent in foreign currency) will be requested from the authors, along with the congress registration, for full texts not exceeding 1500 words. This amount is not an Article Processing Charge or Publication Fee, but rather the cost of the services mentioned above, which will be paid to a professional international company.
    • If the authors have already had the academic English editing of their full-text papers carried out by a professional company listed on the journal website (e.g., Elsevier, American Expert, Textcheck), they are required to upload the editing certificate to the system. In this case, an additional fee of $200 (or its equivalent in foreign currency) will be requested, along with the congress registration, to cover the remaining services other than editing.
  • To cover these services, an additional fee of $250 (or equivalent in foreign currency) will be charged for full texts not exceeding 1500 words. This amount is not an article processing charge but a service fee paid to the international service provider.
  • If authors have already had their full texts edited by a professional firm (e.g., Elsevier, American Expert, Textcheck), they must upload the certificate during submission. In this case, a reduced service fee of $200 will apply to cover only the remaining services.

Additionally, through Journal of Medical and Dental Investigations (JOMDI, www.jomdi.org), citations to full-text papers published in IDR will be promoted to maximize citation potential.
